Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is a mercurial musician and singer who blends Soul gospel Jazz and R&B in a signature mix. From Broadway to European clubs and festivals, Avery Sunshine has been a hit all over the world. The real name of Sunshine is Denise White. While she is living in Atlanta currently, she is born in Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she started out as a musician, playing and singing at the local church. Following her graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she began her musical journey on Atlanta's R&B music scene. The Fighting Temptations The first single featuring her voice was called Stalk You a house 12 issued only in Japan; it was later remixed by a variety of producers and has become the mainstay of her live sets. She also lent her voice to the soundtrack of The Fighting Temptations. in 2005 Tyler Perry hired her as the principal keyboardist on his stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her singing and her music, invited Sunshine to sing in the Dreamgirls production during Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was at the center of attention for the nation during four performances per day at 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine followed up with being asked to sing in the presence of the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
