Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a member of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011, was the founding co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. While serving as SSC's Artistic Directors, Lauren Ash-Morgan was also in the roles of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors and text coach. The last year of her tenure, she was a director of lighting and design in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been the director of the ensemble, however in last year made her directorial debut.
